Calamari a Romana

Submitted by Chef Thomas No Comment

Calamares a la Romana is Romane Squid in English. If anything, it is one of the most typical Spanish tapas every time that I go out!

Recipes

  • Romane Squid

Ingredients

  • 2 Big squids
  • 2 lemons, 2 eggs
  • 200 g. of flour
  • Olive oil, salt

Directions

  • Clean squids, remove the bones, fins and tentacles. Cut the bags in ring each of 1 cm., put in a bowl and spray with olive oil and lemon juice. Leave marinade for 30 minutes. Later pass the squid per flour and whipped egg, and fry in hot oil. Remove the excess oil with paper, serve the squids wit lemon slices.
